Writing Your Novel

A 12 week course to give you the techniques and practice to build the story you want to tell.
It features all the main components of story structure and craft development whilst providing the opportunity to set goals and build your word count.
You will learn how to edit your work, and three sessions will be dedicated to submitting work, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
We will celebrate your achievements, and you will have the opportunity of a one-to-one consultation with the tutor. 
You will learn how to create a believable world and fill it with characters your readers empathise with.
There will be plenty of prompts to help you move your story forward alongside examples and writing advice to help develop your craft and personal voice.
The course will address drama, suspense, comedy, emotion, love, surprise and how to give your characters psychological depth.
It will cover the use of figurative language, the structure of scenes, pace, tone, point of view and narration.
 If you have a creative writing project in mind, imagination and a desire to write, do join in, enjoy the company of like-minded people and get your story out!
